A Search Engine for Protein Databases
Insilicos LLC is a biomarker discovery and diagnostic development company, concentrating on cardiovascular disease. According to a summer 2010 press release, Insilicos was awarded an NIH grant to “develop a highly-scalable, cloud computing-based system to search protein databases. The system is intended for use in mass spectrometry proteomics.”
